About Elksinger

Elksinger is another name for Herman M. Nelson, who has studied Tarot and many other areas of metaphysics for over four decades. He has been involved in the hermetic arts (XOHOX and Wicca) since the mid-1960s, “before it was popular,” he says. It took more than 22 years to complete Elksinger’s Perfected Tarot.

The name Elksinger indicates “the part of my mind which is right-brain oriented. It is my precious intuitive center. It is in touch with the great Collective Unconscious, knowing things my left-side brain can never dream of. Elksinger knows without needing to think, as you do not need to think about breathing or turning things you eat into energy for your body. Yet Elksinger’s meditative conclusions do stand up well in left-brain scrutiny based on cold, hard logic and facts.”
